Priscilla Jackett and Rachel White, local widows whom I’ve known for many years, are great fans of the anthology and read poems of their choice from it; Christine Silverstein’s prose poems were the inspiration that got me writing my own poems, two years after Edward’s death. I’m grateful to all three of them for standing up with me in Provincetown. We may try to do a third reading early in 2015.
